High Intensity Discharge (HID) is a
state-of-the-art premium lighting technology used to replace
halogen lamps. Instead of using a filament, HID lamps
operate by zapping an arc between two electrodes within a
sealed quartz capsule containing Xenon gas. The bright white
beam produced by Xenon filled HID lamps offer much higher
visibility with more than a three-fold increase in light
intensity versus halogen lamps. The enhanced illumination
delivers superior visibility, road safety and driving
comfort for the night driver.

HIDs with its complete line of High Powered 35-Watt HID
kits, Extreme 50-Watt HID kits, Bi-Xenon HID kits, Strobe
Flashing HID kits, and Motorcycle/Scooter HID kits. Kits are
available in color temperatures of 3000K, 4300K, 6000K,
8000K, 10000K.
